Laurier Noir is produced from a north-facing, cool-climate single vineyard (0.3 ha), planted in 2006, located in the mountainous village of Vrosthena in eastern Aigialeia. The vineyard is cultivated on clay, rocky, and limestone soils at an altitude of 915 meters, resulting in low yields of high-quality grapes with notably high natural acidity. Classic red vinification with spontaneous alcoholic fermentation. Only the free-run wine is used, aged for 12 months in a 15-hectoliter French oak foudre. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, with minimal addition of sulfites. A dry red wine with a deep red color and bright purple hues. Elegant aromatic profile featuring violets, dark berries, licorice, and spice.
