This single-vineyard block has never been sprayed and is cultivated with a mix of Agiorgitiko, Mavro Kalavrytino, and Mavrodaphne varieties. The bushvines are planted in predominantly limestone and partly clay-rocky soils, with 30% being ungrafted (self-rooted) and hand-harvested. The wine undergoes traditional open-air, wild fermentation, with skin contact and hand-pigeage for two weeks, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation in old oak barrels of 9th and 10th use. It is bottled unfiltered after a year and a half of barrel aging. Only two to three barrels of wine are produced annually from the 0.3ha vineyard. The very low yields result in a deep-red wine with a velvety, structured, and concentrated mouthfeel.
